Manchester United are on the road to recovery, looking to return to their former glories last experienced under Sir Alex Ferguson.
Since the legendary manager retired, United are yet to win the Premier League, having recently experienced their worst league finish and European run.
However, Ruben Amorim is now in charge of leading the club, with his new approach starting to give United a sense of direction.
Whilst the club still sit in 13th in the Premier League and have been knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Tottenham, Amorim is finding his feet with his squad.
The United hierarchy initially decided that Amorim’s focus should be on player development in the current squad rather than signing big names.
However, the club have now done a U-turn, claiming that the majority of the squad is now open to offers to generate funds for much-needed new talent.
United are reportedly looking at a range of targets, covering multiple positions across the pitch.
The likes of Viktor Gyokeres and Matheus Cunha are being linked in the attack, whilst Jarrad Branthwaite and Alphonso Davies continue to be shortlisted in defence.
Now, reports are suggesting that United are looking to a former Premier League star who has found his form and is on track for his career-best season.

Manchester United look to Christian Pulisic
The Daily Briefing have reported that Manchester United are now looking to Christian Pulisic who is lighting up Serie A with AC Milan.
Pulisic came through the Borussia Dortmund academy, getting promoted to the senior side in 2016. Whilst there, the USA international grabbed 19 goals and 26 assists in 127 games before being signed by Chelsea in 2019 for £53 million.
Moving to Stamford Bridge, Pulisic continued to deliver, with 26 goals and 19 assists in 145 games, however his overall form struggled so he was ultimately sold to AC Milan for a mere £18 million in 2023.
Since then, the winger has been on fire, already grabbing 23 goals and 17 assists, nearly surpassing his Chelsea stats in half the appearances, having only played 70 games.
This season alone, Pulisic is on eight goal and six assits halfway through the season, well on track to beat his career best which was his debut season at San Siro, with 15 goals and 11 assists.
Now, United are up against Liverpool, with both clubs considering a move for the 26-year-old. However, it’s understood that AC Milan have now placed a £53 million price tag on their star.
With United looking to cut costs at the club, it’s unexpected that they would be able to afford this valuation without making sales first, however with the majority of the squad on offer, it’ not an impossible outcome.
