Earlier this month, Centre Devils exclusively revealed that Manchester United were targetting Julian Nagelsmann to replace Erik ten Hag.
The German national team coach is on the board’s radar, as United lie 14th in the Premier League.
Their 2-1 loss to West Ham on Sunday was their fourth in the league this campaign.
While Ruud van Nistelrooy is the safe option as interim manager, United’s hierarchy would prefer an elite coach to take over on a permanent basis.

Now, it has been reported by TalkSPORT that United have shown a further interest in Julian Nagelsmann.
The 37-year-old has previously managed TSG Hoffenheim, RB Leipzig, Bayern Munich and now Germany.
In his 332 games as a coach, he has won 179 games – a 54% win percentage.
He has also won three trophies, all at Bayern Munich – two DFL-Supercups in 2021 and 2022 and a Bundesliga title in 2022.
While United would love to bring Nagelsmann to Old Trafford, they are aware of his commitment to his national team.
Last month, he stated that he wants to bring World Cup glory back to Germany.
‘We want to become world champions,’ he said, which means that he plans to stay in his current role until at least 2026.

However, he has not explicitly communicated that he does not want to join United.
Ten Hag dodged the axe after many called for him to be sacked in the last international break.
After the two-week rest, he has led United to a win, a draw and a loss.
The next round of international fixtures come in just under three weeks.
Before then, the Dutchman has four games to turn the tide on United’s performances, or he may not escape fate a second time.
