Manchester United are searching for another striker to join their ranks alongside Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.
The club have been struggling in front of goal for some time now, making plenty of opportunities, but struggling to convert.
Rasmus Hojlund found himself as the only striker for the club at the start of the summer, with Anthony Martial leaving at the end of his contract.
In his place came Zirkzee from Bologna, however the move was made against Erik ten Hag’s wishes, with the Dutch striker struggling for game time.
Now, Amorim has trialled Marcus Rashford in his former role of striker, with the club now starting to get more goals, with even Zirkzee getting a brace against Everton.
However, this isn’t stopping the club from looking further afield for other options to strengthen their attack.
Over recent weeks United have been linked to strikers like Victor Boniface of Bayer Leverkusen and Omar Marmoush of Eintracht Frankfurt.
However, it’s Napoli’s Victor Osimhen who is now at the centre of the Red Devils’ attention.

Il Mattino, as reported by Napoli Magazine, have claimed that United are now looking to the Nigerian international who is currently on loan with Galatasaray.
Already this season, Osimhen has scored ten goals and grabbed five assists in 13 games, making some of the European giants sit up and take note.
United are up against Juventus and PSG to sign the striker in January, despite his loan to Galatasaray.
The 25-year-old has a release clause of £62 million, with Napoli looking to raise funds for improving their squad.
