Manchester United’s struggles on the pitch within the first team have been a regular sighting.
The club currently sit 13th in the Premier League, set for another miserable season.
Ruben Amorim will undoubtedly need time to get a real grip on a squad that he believes can compete.
One thing that can’t be dismissed however, is the importance of youth.
United are known to be one of the best clubs in the world at bringing through academy prospects.
One young talent however, could be on his way out of the club.

That player is Ethan Wheatley, the 19-year-old who operates as a striker for the U-21 side.
Wheatley currently sits on five goals in six league games, which poses as quite an impressive stat.
Journalist Jonathan Ploeg, has reported on Leeuwarder Courant of SC Cambuur’s interest in the Englishman.
The Dutch side have a genuine interest, although it is unknown whether they aim to sign Wheatley on a loan or permanent basis.
SC Cambuur play in the Eerste Divisie, and currently sit 3rd in the league.
They have netted 30 goals, 21 behind league leaders FC Volendam.

It may well be a deal that works for both parties, should Wheatley depart in January for remainder of the season.
SC Cambuur aim to climb further up the table, and Wheatley’s goalscoring knack may be the level raiser they need.
Experiencing a new, challenging environment could be what pushes Wheatley to the next level.
It is unknown as to whether the player wants to move, but it certainly seems like a suitable deal for both parties.
United fans expect the club to pursue opportunities for young talents to polish their skills.
Short or long-term, Wheatley’s ability can not come to a waste.
