Manchester United have their eyes set on another transfer target after Sporting CP’s emphatic 4-1 win against Manchester City last night.
In Ruben Amorim’s last home game for the Portuguese side, he embarrassed Pep Guardiola in the Champions League.
While the 39-year-old vowed to not poach any of Sporting’s players in the January transfer window, he certainly has some favourites in his squad.
United may have to wait until next summer to get their hands on a superstar forward who Amorim handed his debut to.

The Red Devils are tracking 17-year-old Geovany Quenda, according to Manchester Evening News.
He started on the right wing last night and assisted Viktor Gyokeres’ equaliser in the 38th minute.
After this goal, Sporting never looked back, scoring twice in quick succession after half-time and once again in the 80th minute.
United have been monitoring Geovany Quenda since the start of the season, after debuting for Sporting in August.
He is under contract with the Portuguese giants until 2027 and has an estimated transfer value of only €15million, according to Transfermarkt.
However, with his exponential progression, Sporting will likely demand much more for Quenda’s talents.

He has already been involved in Portugal’s Under-21 national team setup, making his first apperance just last month.
The winger has started eight out of Sporting’s 10 league games this season and has broken multiple records for the club.
He became their youngest goalscorer in the league, scoring against Famalicao on October 26, beating Cristiano Ronaldo’s record.
On September 17, he also became Sporting’s youngest player to start in the Champions League.
With Antony expected to leave next year, Quenda may be the perfect replacement to add depth at right wing.
