Amad Diallo to be rewarded with new contract
His brace not only secured him man-of-the-match, but also got United their first win in Europe at Old Trafford in a year.
BBC Sport have reported that the 22-year-old is keen to seal a new contract to see him stay at the club longer. His current deal ends in the summer, so United are keen to lock him down so they don’t lose him on a free transfer.
However, his desire to remain at the club makes the outcome of leaving the club very unlikely.
Over the summer, Amad commented: “I’m happy to be here, happy to play for this club and yes, I want to stay here for a long time and make history here.
Now, United are looking to extend his contract, with a deal being discussed keeping him at Old Trafford until 2027.
