Manchester United are set to continue their UEFA Europa League campaign this Thursday.
Under previous manager Erik ten Hag, United had drawn all three of their opening fixtures.
That means that they currently sit on three points.
This was not the start that most MUFC fans were expecting when they first saw the fixture list.
After two away trips in the competition, the club welcome European football back to Old Trafford on Thursday in the hope that will help bring three badly needed points in the tournament.
With Ruud van Nistelrooy set to continue his interim charge of the club in the game, the United legend will be hoping that his team has the right arsenal to come away with the win.
And he’ll need his best players out on the pitch to help make that happen.
The good news is that one of Manchester United’s star men is set to make his return to the lineup after missing out in the last European fixture.
Bruno Fernandes is set to return to the Manchester United lineup for the PAOK Europa League clash at Old Trafford.
The Manchester United captain missed the away trip to Fenerbache with suspension after being sent off against FC Porto in matchday two.
Bruno Fernandes scored the opening goal for the side when they drew 1-1 with Chelsea on the weekend after also scoring two goals against Leicester City in the Carabao Cup last week.
The Portuguese attacker will be hoping to keep his goalscoring momentum going when he returns to the lineup this week.
It has been well documented that the team have just not scored enough goals this season, so having a player back who can both score and assist others will be of immense help to the side.
