Manchester United look to Ryan One
Manchester United have now looked to Sheffield United’s Ryan One as another potential summer signing.
The 18-year-old moved to The Blades in 2023, joining their academy from the Hamilton youth set-up. breaking into the senior squad last summer.
Still a fringe player, One’s made 13 appearances this season with a single goal against Bristol City, predominately coming on off the bench.
However, United have competition for the young striker, with Ipswich Town also interested.
The Tractor Boys are looking to One as a potential successor to Liam Delap who is expected to leave in the summer, with United desperate to sign him.
It looks highly likely that Ipswich will be one of the relegated parties this Premier League season, triggering a £30 million release clause for Delap if they are.
As such, United could land Delap, making Ipswich the front runners to sign One, being able to offer him more game time.
