Manchester United are going through a rebuilding phase, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe entrusting the job to Ruben Amorim.
The Portuguese manager completely turned Sporting Lisbon around, leading the side to win their first league title in 19 years.
As such, the INEOS owner feels he is the right man for the job, with the prospects looking good so far.
In three matches, Amorim has helped United grab two wins and a draw, scoring seven goals in the last two games.
His new system operates with a 3-4-3 using dynamic wing play to support the attack and defence.
As such, most of the United squad fits into place in his new formation, however, the club are still looking outwardly at how they can bring more strength to the squad and get young players for the next class of Red Devils.
Now, Manchester United are looking to German side Eintracht Frankfurt in the pursuit of one of their impressive defensive midfielders.

Manchester United target Hugo Larsson of Eintracht Frankfurt
Whilst United are primarily focusing on the striker and left-wing-back roles, they also don’t want to miss the opportunity of signing top young talent.
With this in mind, Patrick Berger has reported that The Red Devils are looking at Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Larsson, the 20-year-old defensive midfielder.
Larsson is a product of the Malmo academy, being promoted to the senior team in 2022.
After 61 appearances for the club with three goals, four assists, an Allsvenskan league title and having won the Svenska Cupen, Larsson transferred to Frankfurt for £7.5 million in 2023.
Since then, the 20-year-old has made 57 appearances for the German side, with six goals and three assists, surpassing his goal contributions at the Swedish club.
With Larsson having his contract with the German club until 2029, it’s unsure as of yet if United plan on making a move for the start next year, however they are closely monitoring the situation surrounding him.
