Manchester United are preparing to strengthen their forward line in the upcoming windows.
The club have struggled to find the back of the net this season, ranking amongst the bottom five in the Premier League.
Rasmus Hojlund who joined the club ahead of the 2023/24 season has failed to live up to expectations.
The lack of firepower is clearly an area that needs addressing.
Goalscoring and creativity was a huge justification of why Erik ten Hag had to depart earlier this season.
Moreso with Marcus Rashford’s expected departure soon.
One player in particular may well prove to be the solution long-term, but faces interest from elsewhere.

United are keeping tabs on Como’s rising star Nico Paz, according to Tuttosport (via FC Inter News).
Paz, 20, has impressed in Serie A under Cesc Fabregas, with two goals and four assists from 12 starts.
His performances have attracted interest from AC Milan and Premier League rivals, Arsenal.
The versatile Argentine can play in midfield, up front, or on the wing, making him a flexible asset.
His wand of a left-foot adds to his array of qualities and has even caught the eye of Lionel Messi.
Despite the interest, Real Madrid hold a estimated £10 million buyback clause for Paz.
However, it seems rather unlikely Madrid will trigger the clause anytime soon with Arda Guler their next breakthrough prospect.
This opens the door for United, in particular.
United may well also look to move on Christian Eriksen in the summer, freeing up space in the midfield department.
Como signed Paz permanently last summer, but Madrid will receive 50% of any future transfer.
Como are likely to demand more than £17 million for the teenage sensation.
Should United sign the player, it would be a very signing that very much makes sense.
United have renowned interest in Ayden Heaven, another prospect.
As well as heavy interest in Franco Mastantuono.
It’s becoming a clear pattern that United are aiming to hoard young talent across the globe.
It is a transfer strategy that the fans haven’t been used to.
Although, one that will likely pay dividends in the long-term.
Whether United can outmaneuver their rivals for Paz remains to be seen.
