A busy summer is to be expected at Old Trafford ahead of the rebuild under INEOS and lots of transfers are to be expected, both in and out.
A midfielder is definitely on the summer shopping list and as HITC report, they have been keeping an eye on OGC Nice trio that includes French midfielder Kephren Thuram.
The rest of the trident is centre back Jean Clair Todibo and left back Melvin Bard.
French outfit Nice is also owned by Ratcliffe and INEOS so business should ideally be easy to manouvre in case United decide to have a go at either of the 3.
Manchester United’s midfield is very lacking and they would do well with a midfield like Thuram.
Thuram, who is the younger brother of Inter Milan striker Marcus Thuram and son to French legend Lilian Thuram, would be a superb long-term addition for them at only 23.
The uncertainty around the futures of senior midfielders Casemiro and Christian Eriksen further emphasizes the need for a midfielder like Thuram.
He has both the physical and technical attributes to excel in the Premier League and his presence will add a lot of control in midfield, something that has been grossly lacking.
He is still young and and with the right coaching and management, he could turn into a fantastic investment for the long term.
He could form a perfect long-term partnership with an even younger Kobbie Mainoo having United’s pivot sorted for at least the next half decade.
Most players would jump at the chance to try out the Premier League so if this reported interest were to solidify, a move would be very probable.
