Manchester United’s squad is expected to undergo significant changes in the summer, with reinforcements needed in several areas.
While the club is set to target elite-level experience to strengthen key positions, young talents who fit the long-term vision of INEOS and head coach Ruben Amorim will also be a major focus.
That strategy has already been evident in recent months.
The signings of Chido Obi, Ayden Heaven, and Patrick Dorgu – players recruited for their specific tactical suitability rather than just their raw ability.
Now, one English youngster, in particular, has emerged as a priority target for the club.
Tyler Dibling attracting Manchester United and Europe’s elite
According to Chris Wheeler’s report for the Daily Mail, United scouts were in attendance at Bangor City to watch Tyler Dibling in action for England Under-19s against Wales.
The Southampton winger is set to be one of the most sought-after young players in England this summer.
His departure from St. Mary’s is likely once their relegation to the Championship is confirmed.
Dibling has been a bright spark for the Saints, despite their woes this season.
His performances have drawn significant attention, with 14 Premier League clubs monitoring the talent.
United, Tottenham, Liverpool, and Manchester City are among all clubs making inquiries.

Interest from abroad is also strong, with RB Leipzig, Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund monitoring his situation closely.
United may have an advantage in the race for Dibling’s signature due to technical director Jason Wilcox.
Wilcox was director of football at Southampton before making the switch to Old Trafford last year.
Wilcox knows Dibling well and could play a crucial role in persuading him to join United.
Especially with Amorim looking to reinforce his wide options this summer.
With Marcus Rashford, Antony, and Jadon Sancho all expected to leave, a move for a winger is firmly on the agenda.
Amorim’s former Sporting Lisbon player Francisco Trincao has also been considered as reported on CentreDevils on Monday.
However there is a belief that Dibling could be developed into a right wing-back under the Portuguese coach.
Dibling has already impressed against United
United’s interest in Dibling is not new.
The club’s scouts have tracked him for some time.
His performances against them this season have only strengthened their admiration.
He dominated Diogo Dalot in their match-up at St. Mary’s earlier in the campaign and stood out again when Southampton visited Old Trafford in January, despite the Saints suffering a late collapse.
His talent was also evident last week when England Under-19s claimed a 2-0 victory over Wales.
United striker Ethan Wheatley, currently on loan at Walsall, was among the scorers.
With United in the market for both established stars and exciting young prospects, Dibling’s name could remain firmly on their radar as they prepare for a summer of squad transformation.
