Manchester United are looking to the future of the club with their pursuit of young talents from around the globe.
In the summer United signed Leny Yoro from LOSC Lille who was deemed a generational talent with the 18-year-old being a key member of the Ligue 1’s defence.
Whilst Yoro was ruled out at the start of the season through injury, the centre-back in fit once more and is slowly finding his place under Ruben Amorim.
Last week saw United sign Diego Leon, a 17-year-old left-back from Paraguay. The Red Devils entered a verbal pre-contract agreement for the young defender to move to Old Trafford next June, after his 18th birthday.
It’s also been highlighted that United are targeting Rosenborg’s Sverre Halseth Nypan who turns 18 years old at the end of the week, making him available for transfer in January.
Now, The Red Devils are being linked with another 17-year-old who has already made history.

Manchester United scout Charalampos Kostoulas
The Sun have reported that Manchester United are one of a host of teams who have begun scouting Olympiacos’ exciting young striker, Charalampos Kostoulas.
The youngster was a key part of the Greek side’s reserve squad last season who won the UEFA Youth League, beating teams like AC Milan, Inter and Bayern Munich to be the first ever Greek club to win a European title.
This season, Kostoulas has made 18 appearances for the senior side, grabbing three goals and an assist across all competitions, helping Olympiacos hold the top spot of the Super Ligue 1 and 15th in the Europa League.
Last week, the Greek side hosted FC Twente, with scouts attending from United, Juventus, Fioretina and Borussia Monchengladbach. With the clubs in attendance, Kostoulas delivered a man-of-the-match performance, despite playing out a goalless draw.
Whilst primarily a striker, Kostoulas’ versatility allows him to be used on the wing or in attacking midfield, another trait that will no doubt be of interest to Ruben Amorim.
