Manchester United have dismissed claims of Alejandro Garnacho being responsible for leaking team news ahead of their 2-1 derby win over Manchester City.
The issue of team news leaks has plagued United for years.
A recurring theme under successive managers.
During Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s reign, fans had hoped leaks would be eradicated, but the problem persisted.
The situation did not improve under Erik ten Hag, with leaked starting XI’s becoming a constant frustration for supporters.
Now, under Ruben Amorim, the leaks remain an unresolved issue, sparking fresh speculation and scrutiny.

Reports surfaced after the City match suggesting Garnacho and his brother were linked to the leaks.
However, according to the Manchester Evening News, United sources have branded these claims as “rubbish.”
There were also reports that Amad Diallo was questioned about the leaks.
However, the club club have dismissed any suggestion of his involvement.
Instead, United believe the leaks are coming from a broader “network of people with varying motivations and incentives.”
The club has also denied launching any formal investigation into the matter following the derby.
Speaking after the win over City, Amorim acknowledged the challenge of addressing such issues.
Amorim stated: “I think it is impossible to fix, because you have a lot of people in the club.
“The players talk with agents, you can talk with friends.”
The Portuguese manager added: “It’s hard to know, it is not a good thing.
“But let’s move on and go to the next one and see if they find the next starting XI!”
United are now preparing for their Carabao Cup quarter-final against Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday.
Garnacho has since been reinstated in the squad, but Marcus Rashford remains unavailable.
It remains interesting to see what will happen should the leaks continue to happen throughout the remaining of the season.
An issue that without doubt will be causing frustration for Amorim as it continues.
