Manchester United have been struggling with their attack for some time, failing to convert opportunities into goals consistently.
Strikers Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee only have a combined eight goals and grabbed three assists in 22 games this season. However, secondary striker and winger Marcus Rashford has scored seven goals and grabbed three assists in 23 games on his own.
As such, United are looking for a new striker to be a reliable force in front of goal.
Players like Viktor Gyokeres of Sporting, Victor Boniface of Bayer Leverkusen, Victor Osimhen of Napoli and Omar Marmoush of Eintracht Frankfurt.
However, United would struggle to afford an one of these due to their limited transfer budgets going forwards.
As such, The Red Devils are now looking at selling one of their top stars to make this possible.
Despite his stats outweighing the pair of strikers combined, United are now reportedly looking at selling star attacker Marcus Rashford.

Manchester United aim to sell Marcus Rashford
Florian Plettenberg has now reported that the sale is being discussed due to his high salary at the club which would support United’s ongoing struggles with the Financial Fair Play system. In turn, this would give United more freedom in the transfer market.
The latest they intend to sell the England international is in the summer, accepting top offers for the star in the upcoming winter transfer window.
Whilst Rashford’s improvement under Amorim has been acknowledged, even just in the early days, United are not considering him “unsellable”.
Rashford is contracted to the club until 2028, meaning there’s no looming contract deadline forcing the sale, making the move entirely tactical by the club.
