Christian Eriksen and Manchester United are expect to part ways at the end of the season, according to Fabrizio Romano.
There are no current negotiations over a new deal and, although the club will take Ruben Amorim’s opinion into account, United are content with letting the Danish midfielder leave in 2025.
There has been no indication that the board are urgent to sell Christian Eriksen, meaning that he may well exit on a free transfer upon the expiration of his contract.
A new report has revealed that United are quickly looking to find a young replacement.
Transfer expert Graeme Bailey told United in Focus that the Red Devils are monitoring Sverre Halseth Nypan and Chris Rigg.
Both central midfielders are only 17 years old and United have long-admired their talents.

Sverre Halseth Nypan
Nypan has already said that playing for United would be a dream in the future.
‘It would be a dream come true to play for Manchester United.
‘But I am quite adamant I don’t want to open that door yet,’ he told the United Norway podcast.
Last month, an experienced Norwegian scout labelled the 6ft midfielder a generational talent.
‘Nypan is a truly generational talent. If he continues to play like this, it’s very likely he’ll move within a year,’ the anonymous scout told Mail Sport.
Nypan currently plays for Rosenborg in Eliteserien, Norway’s first division.
He made his debut on November 6 2022, becoming the youngest player ever to represent the club at 15 years and 322 days old.
Now, he is a regular starter for Rosenborg, and has contributed seven goals and seven assists in 26 games this year.

Chris Rigg
Rigg was previously described by a scout as the ‘nearest thing to Bryan Robson he had ever seen.’
Bailey explained that clubs can expect to pay £20m-£30m for his signing and that he is ready for first team football.
It is unlikely that United will be able to get him in January, as Sunderland are keen to hold onto him for as long as possible.
However, if Eriksen does leave in the summer, the Englishman would be an exciting candidate to replace him.
