Manchester United are really pushing to sign Patrick Dorgu with only nine days left of the winter transfer window.
The Red Devils are desperate to get their man to have a natural left-back on the left-flank after over a year of injuries keeping Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia off of the pitch.
Dorgu’s ability to play in all positions on either wing makes him a perfect candidate to take on Ruben Amorim’s desired left-wing-back role, wanting dynamic play on the flanks.
However, their previous bids have been rejected by Lecce who are holding out for £34 million for their talented youngster.
Earlier today, Fabrizio Romano reported that despite the most recent rejection of their £25 million bid, the deal was still very much on and likely to go through.

Manchester United’s new bid for Patrick Dorgu
Now, Sky Sports have reported that United are looking to table a new bid, closer to the asking price, although it wasn’t confirmed if they would be matching it.
However, it did report that the new bid could be submitted as early as tomorrow.
Dorgu has already agreed personal terms with Manchester United, with his family currently in Italy supporting the move.
All that’s left is for United to agree the transfer fee with Lecce then the deal can complete.
The Italian side have already lined up his replacement, with Estrela Amadora’s Danilo Veiga ready in the wings.
