Manchester United are now setting their sights on an exciting young winger labelled as the “next Mo Salah”.
Although Alejandro Garnacho is excelling, with Marcus Rashford once more finding his form and Amad Diallo looking to step up, United are still looking for top talent any chance they get.
Recent reports have linked The Red Devils with Geovany Quenda from Sporting who appears to be following in Cristiano Ronaldo’s footsteps.
The 17-year-old has broken into the Portuguese side’s starting line-up and is starting to make a name for himself.

However, it’s another target over in Italy that is now at the centre of United’s plans.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia – the next Mo Salah
Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is stirring up excitement across Europe by being likened to Liverpool’s star winger.
The 23-year-old joined the Serie A side in 2022 from Dinamo Batumi in his home nation of Georgia for £11 million (€13.3 million).
Since then, Kvaratskhelia has registered 29 goals and 28 assists in 98 games, including four goals and two assists so far this season to help Napoli hold their position at the top of the Serie A table.
Despite his contract ending in 2027, the winger has suggested he’d be open to a move to the Premier League, with Liverpool keen on signing the star as a successor to Mo Salah.
Speaking in the summer, Kvaratskhelia’s agent spoke with Georgian outlet Imedi, saying: “I don’t want people to think that Kvara wants to stay at Napoli. We want to leave, but we are waiting for the end of the Euros so as not to disturb Khvicha.”
He continued: “The priority is to join a team that plays in the Champions League. Kvaratskhelia without the Champions League? Then he wants to win the Scudetto. For the future everything depends on the president of Napoli. If he thinks of selling Kvara, he will do. If he wants the renewal, he will renew.”
Recently United have received a boost in their pursuit of Kvaratskhelia, with the winger snubbing PSG in favour of playing in England.
