Ruben Amorim is assembling his first starting line-up at Manchester United.
The Red Devils are in for a hectic winter, with the squad playing two games per week for the next five weeks.
Between now and New Year, United have 11 games including eight Premier League matches, two Europa League games and a Carabao Cup tie.
In the Premier League, United will face Ipswich, Everton, Arsenal, Nottingham Forest, Manchester City, Bournemouth, Wolves and Newcastle. In Europa, Amorim’s men will take on Bodo/Glimt and Viktoria Plzen, facing Spurs in the Carabao Cup just before Christmas.
With such a jam-packed schedule, injury is a real risk to Amorim’s selections, with several stars either ruled out or close to recovery. Leny Yoro, Luke Shaw, Kobbie Mainoo, Tyrell Malacia and Amad Diallo have all featured in Amorim’s first team training session, giving hope of an imminent return.

However, Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof have both suffered injuries affecting their international duties, potentially ruling them out further.
The other factor that could play a real part in Amorim’s selection is disciplinary action. With this in mind, two of United’s key players are dangerously close to getting a suspension.
Manchester United duo’s disciplinary woes
Kobbie Mainoo and Lisandro Martinez and currently both sat on four yellow cards each. Unfortunately for the pair, and Amorim, this puts them dangerously close to receiving a suspension if they pick up another yellow.
If any player picks up five bookings in the first 19 matches of the season, they will receive a one-match ban. United are currently on match-day 11, with the pair needing to go eight games without a booking to avoid a one-match ban.
Just behind them, Harry Maguire and Diogo Dalot have two chances to avoid a suspension, currently having received three yellows.
On top of the injury woes being faced, to have players suspended as well would be a massive blow for Amorim at the start of his tenure.
