Manchester United have experienced their first loss under new manager Ruben Amorim at the hands of Arsenal.
The fixture saw United travel to London after an impressive 4-0 win over Everton.
Braces from Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee defeated the Toffees, taking The Red Devils into the top half of the Premier League table.
However, Lisandro Martinez and Kobbie Mainoo were booked during the matchup with Everton, ruling them out of the Arsenal game through suspension.
In place of Mainoo, Bruno Fernandes lined up with Manuel Ugarte in the centre, with Casemiro and Christian Eriksen on the bench.
However, with the two substitutes potential not fitting into Amorim’s plans, United are looking outwardly to sign a new defensive midfielder.

Manchester United turn to Borussia Dortmund
Bild is reporting that Manchester United are scouting Felix Nmecha of Borussia Dortmund.
The centre-midfielder has become a regular for the club since joining from Wolfsburg in 2023.
With 47 appearances for Dortmund, grabbing five goals and four assists, the Germany international is becoming vital to Dortmund’s success.
Now, it’s been reported that United aren’t on their own scouting the star, with Newcastle and Chelsea also interested.
However, the German club see the star as essential to their plans, wanting an “immoral sum of money” to agree to any deal.
With United’s current financial issues, it’s hard to believe they’ll rise to this demand, however, time will tell.
