Manchester United’s defence has performed impressively this season, despite their injury crisis.
Andre Onana has kept the most clean sheets in the Premier League with four, ahead of Allison and David Raya (three each).
United have also conceded eight goals, which is not eyebrow-raisingly low, but is as few as Chelsea and Manchester City.
Erik ten Hag has acheived this feat, in spite of six different defenders suffering injuries this season.
Tyrell Malacia, Leny Yoro and Luke Shaw are all battling long-term issues and are yet to feature for the Red Devils this campaign.
Meanwhile, Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof have both also missed game time.
Noussair Mazraoui is the sixth and latest defensive casualty for United this season, and will miss a number of weeks due to minor heart functioning issues.

With these repeat injury problems in their back line, United’s ownership are now looking to pounce on a Real Madrid summer 2025 target.
United are interested in signing Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies next summer, to add much needed depth in their left-back void, according to Florian Plettenberg.
They have already gathered information on the 23-year-old, but are aware of Madrid’s lingering interest.
The board know that their chances of signing Davies is low, yet remain in the picture.
Madrid are certainly the favourites to sign the Canadian international, with his contract expiring at the end of this season.

Bayern are open to negotiating a new deal with Alphonso Davies but there have been no concrete talks yet.
If United could swoop in to secure Davies’ signature, they would have their hands on a long-term replacement for Luke Shaw.
Shaw has not featured for the Red Devils since February this year and has a torrid injury history.
Since 2013, the left-back has been sidelined on 43 different occassions due to knocks or injuries.
