Manchester United are already looking to set out their plans for the winter transfer window which is only a couple of months away now.
Reports have already emerged of some of their aims in the January window for both outgoings and new signings.
Firstly Harry Maguire is reportedly a priority sale, with the club looking to extend his contract by a year to give some more time and negotiation power to avoid losing him on a free transfer.
Alongside Maguire, Antony is also looking to be sold, with United now considering a loan deal to give the Brazilian more match time to impress potential suitors for an eventual sale.
However, on the signings front, United are believed to be targeting Sverre Halseth Nypan, the Norwegian wonderkid from Rosenborg, to loan him back out to see the remainder of the season through with his current squad.
The club are also looking at resigning former left-back Alvaro Carreras with The Red Devils including a buy-back clause for the 21-year-old, seeing them only needing to pay £16.7 million as opposed to his £41.8 million release clause.
However, now reports are emerging that United are once more looking to Bayern Munich to potentially make an offer come January.
United turn to Bayern Munich once more
In the summer, United signed Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich in a double swoop for the pair of defenders.
Now, Florian Plettenberg has reported that The Red Devils are looking at Leroy Sane and Leon Goretzka as potential signings next year.
It’s understood that United may be looking for another defensive midfielder in January, with Goretzka fitting the bill.
However, Goretzka wants to remain at Bayern for the remainder of the season at least with his contract running until 2026.
Currently Sane could be up for grabs on a free transfer, with his contract ending in the summer, however, it’s understood that conversations are currently taking place to extend his contract past 2025.
