Ruben Amorim hopes to receive full backing at Manchester United.
United’s results under Amorim so far, have been relatively inconsistent.
The Red Devils beat Manchester City 2-1 but lost 3-0 to Bournemouth.
Amorim is focusing on how the team adapts to his system.
Some players have performed well, while others have struggled.
With the club’s financial situation not at its strongest, United may need to sell players to fund incomings.
One player in particular, has been demanded to remain at the club by a club legend.

Diogo Dalot is reportedly a potential departure, with Real Madrid showing interest in the Portuguese defender.
Dalot, who won United’s Player of the Year award last season, has struggled to adjust to Amorim’s system.
Jaap Stam has urged Amorim to reconsider, warning that letting Dalot leave would be a big mistake.
“Selling Diogo Dalot would be a mistake, he’s been improving season on season and taking a lot of steps,” Stam told Sports Lens.
Stam highlighted Dalot’s defensive improvements, noting that he is now more aware positionally.
“He can cross the ball, score goals.
“He can play on both sides outside and inside.
“If you want to win trophies, then you don’t sell players like that,” Stam added.
Dalot’s struggles in the final third have been evident, as he often fails to create chances or beat defenders 1v1.
Stam believes United should sign Alphonso Davies to operate as a left wing-back.
This would allow Dalot to return to his natural position on the right.
“If United could have Davies on the left and Dalot on the right, then they would have that balance.
“They would have that consistency across the width of the team,” Stam continued.
Whether Dalot goes on to depart the club, remains to be seen.
There have been no obvious hints made by the player or club.
