Last week saw Ruud van Nistelrooy was promoted to interim manager of Manchester United after the club sacked Erik ten Hag.
His first game saw a great win for The Red Devils, defeating Leicester 5-2 in the Carabao Cup, setting up their next round against Tottenham Hotspur.
Following this great win, van Nistelrooy’s men drew 1-1 with Chelsea in the Premier League at Old Trafford.
The Dutchman has two more games in charge of United, facing PAOK in the Champions League and Leicester once more in the Prem.
However, with Ruben Amorim taking his spot as the club’s permanent manager on 11th November, bringing his backroom staff from Sporting with him, van Nistelrooy’s future is unsure.

Now, one of United’s attacking legends has raised his thoughts on the Dutchman staying at the club under Amorim.
Manchester United legend weighs in on Ruud van Nistelrooy
Club legend Teddy Sheringham has spoken out about van Nistelrooy’s future at Old Trafford, advising United to let the former striker go.
Despite van Nistelrooy joining the club in the summer as a part of ten Hag’s new lineup of coaching staff, Sheringham has called for a fresh start under Amorim.
Speaking to Flashscore, Sheringham said: “It wouldn’t be a mistake for Ruben Amorim to part ways with Ruud van Nistelrooy. Most managers come in with their staff behind them and with his stock so high he will be able to make his own demands.”
He continued: “If he doesn’t know Ruud and doesn’t know his personality then he won’t have his back. I think when new managers come in it’s time for a fresh start and you don’t want any confusion as to what was at the club before.”
When discussing Amorim being appointed as the next manager, Sheringham added: “Ruben Amorim has a good record in Portugal, but he’s coming into one of the biggest clubs in the world and it’s a tough ship to sail.”
He continued: “A lot of top managers have failed at Man United. I love his youthfulness and the exuberance that follows him, but we’ll have to see what happens in sticky times because it’s a tough job to have at such a young age.
“I think Amorim is coming out and saying the right things, but until he’s in the hot seat we have no idea what to expect. We do know that Man United went out and got their man, which is the main thing.
“Erik ten Hag could have gone a lot sooner in a lot of people’s eyes. But they’ve gone out and got their man now and hopefully he’s right for the job.”
