As Manchester United look to the future under Amorim, the winter transfer window could play a key part in assembling his initial squad.
Already several stars are returning from injury, with some other key players taking their place.
Leny Yoro looks set to return against Ipswich, with Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia close to recovery.
However, Lisandro Martinez has picked up an issue with his back against Leicester and Victor Lindelof limped off the pitch in Sweden’s match with Slovakia.
Whilst this just focusses on the defence, United’s options elsewhere on the pitch seems to be relatively unaffected, except for recent performance.

The striking options of Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee seem to be relying on the Danish international, with Zirkzee disappointing so far at Old Trafford.
As a result, United now look to PSG striker Randal Kolo Muani for a January move.
Manchester United turn to Randal Kolo Muani from PSG
French outlet L’Equipe, as reported by fussball.news have reported that United are looking at submitting a loan offer for the striker this January.
Kolo Muani arrived at PSG back in 2023 on transfer deadline day from Eintract Frankfurt for €95 million.
Since joining, the 25-year-old has made attempts at breaking into the first squad, with 11 goals and six assists in 52 games. However, Kolo Muani is still seen as more of a rotation player.
As a result his current market value has dropped to €40 million, which unfortunately sits outside of United’s availability.
Due to the extensive and expensive signings over the summer, totalling £200 million, United are looking most likely to attempt loan offers this January unless they can make any sales.
However, this offer could work for PSG who have the striker contracted until 2028, looking at his long-term development.
