Although the transfer window has now closed, making Manuel Ugarte Manchester United’s last summer signing, the club aren’t finished planning their future signings.
The Red Devils had a very strong showing in this summer’s transfer window, not just with their signings, but with their stances and tactics throughout.
The club made some incredible signings in Ugarte, Matthijs de Ligt, Leny Yoro, Joshua Zirkzee and Noussair Mazraoui. Alongside these senior players, Chido Obi-Martin, Samuel Lusale and Sekou Kone have also come in to boost the academy rankings.
United we’re very measured in not overpaying on players and, like with Jarrad Branthwaite, walking away when the difference in valuation is too much.

Howere, it’s now been reported that the club are already looking to future signings, eyeing up talent in South America.
Academy Scoop on X have reported that according to @jfelixdiaz, The Red Devils are now looking at Franco Mastantuono of River Plate.
Mastantuono has come through the River Plate academy, making his way into the first team back in January.
So far the Argentina wonderkid is just getting started, with a goal and two assists in 13 games.
The 17-year-old has also got an international game under his belt, playing for Argentina Under-21s against USA Under-19s where that Americans won 1-0.
Whilst it’s still early day’s in the young star’s career, we may soon see a move for the attacking midfielder from Argentina to Old Trafford.
