Ruud van Nistelrooy will take charge of his second game as interim manager on Sunday against Chelsea.
Manchester United host the Blues at Old Trafford, with only one win in their last five league games under Erik ten Hag.
They sit 14th in the table after last week’s 2-1 away loss to West Ham.
Van Nistelrooy is expected to be nine men short against Enzo Maresca’s men in what feels like a must-win game for United.
Below are the players set to miss the Dutchman’s first Premier League game as manager.

Injury News
Leny Yoro
Yoro is still battling a fractured metarsal injury that he picked up in the pre-season, but could return later this month.
His recovery process is going well although his return is not imminent.
Harry Maguire
Last month, Maguire notified fans via social media that he would be out for ‘a few weeks’, after picking up a foot injury against Aston Villa on October 6.
He has since missed four games for United and there has been no recent update on his return.
Kobbie Mainoo
Mainoo suffered a hamstring injury against Spurs on September 29 but fought through it against Aston Villa a week later.
He was then withdrawn from the England squad as a precaution, however, his injury was worse than expected and has sidelined him for almost a month.
The 19-year-old should be back in the next week or two, as he issued a positive update on Instagram last week.
Mason Mount
Mount suffered a head injury against Spurs and also tweaked his hamstring. He has missed over a month of action and there has been no recent news on his recovery.
He is expected to miss the game against Chelsea as his return date is unknown.

Toby Collyer
To add to United’s injury crisis in midfield, Collyer sustained an injury in training last week and will miss a month of game time.
He last played for the Red Devils on Sep 17 in their 7-0 League Cup win over Barnsley.
Christian Eriksen
Eriksen was absent in Wednesday’s 5-2 win against Leicester, pulling out with an injury just hours before kick-off.
His return date is currently unknown.
Antony
In United’s 1-1 draw with Fenerbahce last week, Antony suffered a scary ankle injury and came off on a stretcher.
He has missed the two games since and will likely be absent against Chelsea.
Tyrell Malacia
Malacia last played a game for United on May 28 2023 and has battled long-term knee issues.
He has recently been training with the first team but is not expected to be back in action soon.
