Manchester United’s rebuild of their midfield this summer is no news to anyone.
Players like Christian Eriksen and Casemiro are now starting to phase into the latter part of their footballing journeys, not quite able to keep to pace with the young generations coming through, although Eriksen’s performances in the Denmark shirt give reason to question it.
Casemiro’s move from Old Trafford is looking most like to be a move that many stars have been doing lately, to the sunny pitches of Saudi Arabia, with a number of teams considering a big money move for the Brazilian.
Loanees Jadon Sancho and Mason Greenwood are both at the heart of a huge amount of interest from to European clubs like Juventus and Borussia Dortmund.

With all this potential change if the deals go through, United will need to remodel their midfield, seemingly looking to use Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho as the centre points with both players labelled as “unsellable” with both young stars making the shortlist for this year’s Golden Boy award.
One star who’s been linked to being a key part in the rebuild it Juventus’ Adrien Rabiot.
United’s interest in the France international has been known for some time, with the midfielder previously appreciating the prospect of playing in the Premier League for United.
The 29-year-old is in his final few days as a Juventus player and has been suspected to be holding out on contract renewal negotiations with The Old Lady in case United come knocking.
However, TEAMTalk have reported that the Red Devils have been in contact now with Rabiot’s agents in order to discuss a move to Old Trafford. Unfortunately for United, they are now up against the likes of Arsenal and Aston Villa who are also trying to secure the talented midfielder’s services.
The report explains that Rabiot is looking for his next deal to be more financially beneficial for him and his mother who acts as his agent, with the offer made by Juve matching his existing salary.
