The report indicates that United’s scouting efforts have been robust, with multiple visits to Mestalla this season specifically to observe Javi’s performances. These scouting reports are said to be extremely favorable, and the buzz around Javi has reached his team.
Matteo Moretto has revealed that Manchester United is showing more initiative than other interested clubs by directly expressing interest to Javi. The club is on the verge of bringing in new faces to its sports management team, including Paul Mitchell. There is a consensus among both existing and incoming members that acquiring Javi Guerra should be a priority for the summer.
In terms of transfer specifics, Valencia hasn’t officially priced Javi Guerra. However, his release clause is set at €100 million.
Valencia’s reluctance to negotiate his sale in January, coupled with the release clause, seems to be their strategy to ward off potential negotiations. Despite this, there’s talk in British circles about a possible transfer fee in the region of €35-40 million, claims Moretto.
