Manchester United are looking at increasing their ticket prices in another effort of easing financial pressures for the club.

United’s new decision comes on the back of recent comments from Sir Jim Ratcliffe that without the measures the club would be bust by Christmas 2025.

Ticket prices have already been targeted by INEOS this season in one of their measures taken, cutting concessions making every ticket £66 irrelevant of age.

Now, The Athletic has reported that season ticket prices will rise by roughly five per cent next season.

This means they’ll be an average increase of £2.50 per ticket per game.

However, there will be a price freeze for season ticket holders under the age of 16.

This is a breaking story with more to follow.
