It seems that a new right-back is what’s on the agenda for Premier League clubs this season.
Not are only Manchester United in the market for one, but so are West Ham United.
One player linked with both sides is Noussair Mazraoui.
Bayern Munich and Morocco right back is said to be available for transfer in this window.
It was previously believed that West Ham were in the drivers seat for his signature.
That’s not the case any longer.
Sky Sport Germany are reporting that the deal to take Mazraoui to West Ham United is now off.
Florian Plettenberg has tweeted to say that the club and the player had an agreement with the Hammers. Bayern were set to receive €15.5m and an additional €4m in add-ons.
However, an agreement with the player’s agent was not achieved and West Ham have walked away from the deal.
He then adds that United are now pushing to sign Noussair Mazraoui and the clubs are in advanced talks to complete the transfer.
If the reports are to be true, then this would represent the third deal of this transfer window for United.
