Manchester United fan forcibly removed from Old Trafford

The Manchester United supporters group arranged for a fan sit-in following the Derby which encouraged the supporters to remain in their seats after full time.

However, The Daily Mail has reported that as one fan remained in the stands, video footage has emerged of the stewards forcibly removing the fan from the stands.

The supporter videoing the encounter comments that he’s recording to make sure that “no one oversteps the mark” with another fan stepping in to calm the building tensions.

The protesting fan is then visibly pushed by one steward before being restrained by several attendants, with one appearing to have his arm around the fan’s neck.

United have commented that they’re aware of the footage but are unable to comment further as they investigate the situation.
