Manchester United are looking across Europe to find young talent to strengthen their squad.
Ruben Amorim is already harnessing the potential of his team, leading the club to two wins and a draw, helping them to re-enter the Premier League top 10.
The main change in Amorim’s system comes with the wings, which are much more dynamic, rolling the full-back and winger roles into one.
On the right, Amad Diallo is finding his feet in a more defensive variant of his role, however, the club still need a naturally left-sided player to relieve Diogo Dalot of his covering role.
The right-back has been standing in on the left for most of 2024, with Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia out injured.
However, United have found a potential replacement in Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Napoli’s impressive left-winger.

The star man for Napoli – Khvicha Kvaratskhelia
Kvaratskhelia has been on a great run of form, grabbing five goals and three assists in 14 games, helping Napoli to retain the top spot in Serie A.
Whilst the Georgian winger is contracted to the Italian club until 2027, United are hoping to lure him away with a £7.5 million salary.
The Red Devils were given a boost, with contract negotiations stalling between Kvaratskhelia and Napoli, with the Italian side looking to offer £5 million per year.
However, in light of the talks stalling, TBR Football has reported that United are joined by Liverpool and Manchester City in the race for the star.
The 23-year-old is currently valued at £60 million, however, Napoli are holding out for around £83 million. Unfortunately for United, these values appear to sit above their price range.
However, what’s more worrying for The Red Devils in their race is the current standing of Liverpool and City. Whilst City have the funds to sign the talented winger, Liverpool’s spot at the top of the Premier League offers Champions League football.
Liverpool are reportedly looking to Kvaratskhelia as a replacement to Mohamed Salah who is yet to be presented with a new contract.
However, with Amorim now at the helm at Old Trafford, the United rebuild project could equally be a tempting offer for the winger.
