Manchester United are looking ahead to the winter transfer window to bolster their squad for their new era.
Ruben Amorim has landed in Manchester today, starting his new role. The new manager has also brought with him his backroom staff from Sporting Lisbon.
The Portuguese manager is renowned for playing a 3-4-3 formation with dynamic wings and a strong core in the middle of the pitch.
With Manuel Ugarte being the only midfield signing this summer, The Red Devils are now looking at other midfield targets to strengthen the squad.
It’s already known that United are continuing their interest in Norwegian wonderkid Sverre Halseth Nypan of Rosenborg. Nypan has been out of bounds so far for United with him being only 17.

Brexit laws rule that transfers can only take place from outside of the UK over the age of 18. However, with his 18th birthday in December, January could see The Red Devils sign the youngster.
Now, United are being linked to a young star from Croatia, with competition from some LaLiga giants.
Manchester United look to Martin Baturina
Reports from Sky Sports Germany have claimed that United are now looking to Dinamo Zagreb’s Martin Baturina.
The 21-year-old has established himself as a key member of the Croatian club’s starting line-up. In 17 games, Baturina has registered two goals and seven assists.
The club are going strong, currently third in Supersport HNL (Croatian league) and 16th in the Champions League on track for the Round of 16.
However, United have stiff competition for the attacking midfielder.
Reports claim he has recently rejected an offer from LaLiga champions Real Madrid. Los Blancos offered a five-year deal, however specified a two-year loan in Spain. Ultimately Baturina wants to be a permanent feature in a top team rather than going on loan.
Meanwhile, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are also joining United in tracking the star.
Whilst the Croatia international doesn’t have a release clause, his current price tag is between £16-20 million (€ 20-25 million).
Baturina is looking to leave Zagreb at the end of the season, with his eyes set on the Bundesliga. However, with excitement around the Amorim era at Old Trafford, United may be able to lure him to the Premier League.
