Manchester United expect to complete the signing of Ajax winger Antony early next week, talkSPORT understands.
The Brazilian has been given permission to fly over to the UK for a medical after United agreed an £84million fee for Erik ten Hag’s long-time target.
Antony was left out of Ajax’s squad to face Utrecht on Sunday, the second match he has missed in a row.
The 22-year-old will be Man United’s fifth signing of the summer, with Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez, Christian Eriksen and Casemiro also arriving.
Meanwhile, one of the club’s current longest-serving players Anthony Martial is set to be offered a new contract.
Martial missed Saturday’s 1-0 win at Southampton with an Achilles injury but made his first league appearance in over a year in Manchester United’s 2-1 victory over Liverpool last Monday.
Martial spent half of last season on loan at La Liga side Sevilla after falling out of favour at Old Trafford, prompting many to believe he was set to be offloaded.
According to The Sun, United boss Erik ten Hag has told Martial he has a big part to play this season, while the forward has been described as far happier under the Dutchman than any of his predecessors.

Martial, 26, has two years left on his existing deal worth £250,000-a-week and failure to secure a contract extension before then could lead to the forward being available for a cheaper sum next summer.
United chiefs are looking to avoid another star exit following the recent departures of Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard by offering Martial an additional two years to his deal.
The France international swapped Monaco for Manchester in a deal worth up to £55million in September 2015 and has netted 79 goals in 270 appearances for the Red Devils.
But he has often flattered to deceive despite possessing an abundance of talent and has seen his stock both rise and fall under the six managers he has played under since his arrival.
Erik ten Hag appears to be convinced by Martial’s qualities and the Frenchman’s upturn in form suggests the Dutchman might be the man to unearth his talent tenfold if he can shrug off his speight of persistent injuries.
