Manchester United’s clash against Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup came saw Victor Lindelof leaving the tunnel in tears at half-time.
Victor Lindelof has suffered another injury set back, having left the pitch visibly disappointed.
This comes as a disappointment to Lindelof, who has had to endure a series of injuries suffered at the club during the past few years.
The Swedish centre-back has however, been on the periphery over recent years with links of Lindelof moving away from the club.
Lindelof’s injury remains unknown, the centre-back was out of action at the start of December, having only just recovered from a groin and toe issue.
It may not come as too much of a concern to Amorim, who is able to call up on the likes of Jonny Evans, Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro.
However, it is a theme that will continue to frustrate the fans and directors, who are looking to move the player on in the summer window.

Lindelof has already missed seven games so far this season in all competitions.
A figure that will certainly rise, considering the 30-year-old missed 22 games throughout the whole of 2023/24 season.
Once seen as a centre-back for the long-term, but now set to leave the club.
It may well have been the last time United fans saw Lindelof on the pitch, should he depart the club in the January transfer window.
Lindelof has been mentioned in joining Premier League suitors.
The likes of West Ham and Newcastle have been clubs mentioned, in relation to acquiring the injury-prone centre-back.
Whether the recent injury issue will affect the likelihood of clubs being put off in signing the 30-year-old remains likely.
More to follow.
