Manchester United and Liverpool target Kephren Thuram who plays for OGC Nice in the French Ligue 1 could be available for as little as €15m this summer according to a report from footballtransfers.

Manchester United have been interested in the young Frenchman for a while now even sending scouts to watch him a while back as centredevils covered.

OGC Nice are coached by Italian Francesco Farioli whose methods are of old: bland albeit effective and this has greatly hampered Thuram’s game.

Said blandness has greatly affected his creativity and overall impact in Nice’s squad, a mirror-opposite of last season when he was one of the league’s best midfielders.

His exploits last campaign earned him interest from suitors like Juventus and some Premier League clubs but he snubbed all and sundry to stay in Nice.

That is expected to change this season especially considering how the season has been going for him with many expecting him to leave France at the end of the season.

He may even come as a huge bargain according to Nice-Matin, after his would-be drop in form.

The French outlet claims that Nice could settle for as little as €15m-€20m this summer for the midfielder in account of this and the fact that he only has a year left on his contract.

This valuation is not too far from his estimated €19.3m market value which means a deal like this may actualize.

To contextualize his market drop, this value was at €26.8m towards the end of last season.

Given the fact that Nice is also under Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS, a deal may be a bit straightforward if they decice to act on it.
