Reliable French journalist Fabrice Hawkins has revealed that Manchester United and Juventus are showing a keen interest in Monaco’s Youssouf Fofana.
The 24-year-old French international has caught the attention of these major clubs from Italy and England. Fofana, whose contract with Monaco is due to expire in 2025, is under close watch.
Hawkins also mentioned that Paris Saint-Germain is keeping an eye on Fofana’s situation at Monaco, considering a possible transfer.
Among the interested parties, Juventus has shown the most enthusiasm, having observed the French midfielder’s performances both at the club level and on international duty.
Previously in the summer transfer window, Fofana had the option to join Nottingham Forest but chose to remain with Monaco.
Fulham had also expressed interest in him. In response to queries about the summer interest, Fofana remarked, “If you’re choosing between Monaco, Fulham and Nottingham, naturally I stay at Monaco.”
As some of Europe’s top clubs now show interest in Fofana, it is uncertain whether he will stay committed to Monaco or explore new avenues.
