In the other Premier League matches, Liverpool defeated Wolves 2-0 in Jurgen Klopp’s last match in charge, while Crystal Palace earned a 5-0 win over Aston Villa. Manchester United pipped Brighton 2-0, Newcastle United recorded a 4-2 ein over Brentford, Fulham got the better of already relegated Luton Town.
Nottingham Forest sealed their Premier League safety with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Burnley, Tottenham defeated Sheffield United 3-0 to seal fifth place.
Sheffield United, Burnley and Luton Town were relegated to the Championship, the three teams gained promotion last season and they are returning back to the second tier.
