June 09, 2024 BRONX, New York – A man was shot multiple times and gravely injured Sunday afternoon in the Bronx, cops said.
According to police, just after 5:30 p.m., a man presumed to be in his 30’s was struck by gunfire in the head and chest outside an apartment building in the Morris Park neighborhood in the Bronx.
The victim was rushed to Jacobi Hospital where he was pronounced dead, cops said.
Officers responded to the area after receiving 911 calls for a shooting with injuries near Sacket Avenue and Williamsbridge Road.
No arrests at this time, two persons of interest were seen fleeing the location. Police investigation in the deadly Bronx shooting is ongoing.
