Making A Difference Foundation (MADF) is pleased to announce the recent receipt of a $15,000 grant from Workforce Central to fund critical technology upgrades. This grant will enable the organization to purchase ten desktop computers with peripherals, six printers, and one copier, replacing outdated equipment and bolstering its capacity to serve the community more effectively.
The new technology will significantly enhance MADF’s ability to assist the 70,000 individuals who rely on its food bank services each month, where over 1.5 million pounds of food are distributed. With improved data management and reporting capabilities, MADF will streamline its operations, allowing the organization to better meet the needs of its clients and provide more comprehensive updates to funders. This improved efficiency will help build stronger partnerships and potentially increase financial support, enabling MADF to further expand its services.
“We are incredibly grateful for this grant from Workforce Central, which comes at a critical time for our organization,” said Ahndrea Blue, President and CEO of Making A Difference Foundation. “The new computers, printers, and copier will allow us to work more efficiently, streamline our reporting, and ultimately better serve the community. This is a major step forward in helping us continue our mission of fighting food insecurity and supporting those most in need.”
Founded with a mission to empower underserved communities, MADF provides vital services such as food security, education, housing assistance, and financial literacy. The organization is dedicated to creating meaningful, lasting change for individuals and families experiencing hardship, with a focus on those who are most vulnerable.
With these technology upgrades, MADF will be better equipped to offer real-time, accurate data to funders and stakeholders. This increased transparency and accountability will not only enhance the organization’s operations but also strengthen its role in the community as it continues to tackle food insecurity and support families in need. The grant from Workforce Central ensures that MADF can continue its mission of delivering essential resources while improving the quality of services offered.
As MADF looks to the future, the organization remains committed to supporting vulnerable populations by providing access to food, education, and essential resources. The recent technology improvements will play a crucial role in the foundation’s ongoing efforts to make a difference in the lives of those they serve.
