Maddox, Goose make performance debut together in Florida

Red Level School student Raley Beth Maddox and her dog Goose made their performance competition debut Sept. 23-24 at Agility Paws Training Center in Mossy Head, Florida.
It was the first qualifying run for both Raley, 12, and Goose, 14 months old.
Maddox’s grandmother Dawn Kelley said the two have a bright future ahead.
“They struggled with nerves Saturday but pulled it together Sunday to finish with a Novice Qualifying run and fifth place. They are a very young team with a lot of time to grow. We are all looking forward to watching them learn and grow as a team,” Kelley said. “I’m so proud of these two for getting their first Q and first-ever performance Q today. They are growing up on me,” Raley’s mother Darshana Maddox added.
