Are you still standing? Or, rather, should I ask… ARE YOU OKAY?!
Capcom just blew the doors off of the Summer Game Fest house by revealing their entire Street Fighter 6 Season 2 DLC line up, and this batch of fighters will include none other than classic Street Fighter boss, M. Bison. It looks like Bison is first in line for release, and though we saw a small teaser of him today, it looks like we’ll only have to wait a few hours to see what he can actually do in battle.
Following the major reveal, the official Street Fighter Twitter page released a tweet with another juicy bit of news. Apparently, M. Bison’s Street Fighter 6 Season 2 gameplay trailer will be airing tomorrow morning.
Set your clocks for 8 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. ET so you can catch the new gameplay showcase right away.
“Gahaha! Put on a big grin and stretch out those knees,” began the official Street Fighter Twitter account. “We’ll be premiering the M. Bison Gameplay Trailer tomorrow at 8:00AM PT.”
Capcom went as far as including the YouTube link for the gameplay trailer, and you can click “Notify Me” on this video to be alerted to when it premieres.
The brief teaser shown does give us a look at Bison in-game in Street Fighter 6, though we don’t see any gameplay just yet. What was shown looks like it might be something we see in World Tour mode when tracking Bison down, which we know is something Capcom usually shows for DLC characters before gameplay is revealed.
In this teaser, we see the M. Bison hat sitting on the chair in the Ruined Lab stage that was released alongside Ed. We see the big reactor in the background shaking and rumbling with Psycho Power as the hat, which is now covered in Psycho Power too, begins to levitate.
The scene then cuts to the newly cloaked M. Bison punching his fist into the giant reactor where he seemingly begins extracting the Psycho Power out of it. As he appears to return back to form, the fresh-faced Bison stands up, faces the camera, and fires off a trademark smirk.
Gahaha! Put on a big grin and stretch out those knees.
