M. Bison just straight up sucker punches the opponent during a taunt in Street Fighter 6

M. Bison is joining the Street Fighter 6 roster on June 26. During the Summer Game Fest 2024 presentation, where M. Bison, Terry, Mai, and Elena were revealed, Justin Wong and Rooflemonger were able to record a sneak peek at M. Bison as he appears in Street Fighter 6.

It turns out that Rooflemonger thought it would be important to record M. Bison’s taunts. This makes sense considering the discovery that it’s actually possible to access Shin Akuma through one of Akuma’s taunts in Street Fighter 6. Maybe there’s a similar Easter egg for M. Bison?

As it turns out, there is actually an amusing Easter egg with one of M. Bison’s taunts. Like Akuma’s secret power up, this is unlikely to ever happen in a real match, but it’s cool to see nonetheless.

Upon performing this taunt, M. Bison will begin winding up his fist for some reason. It’s a pretty telegraphed animation that goes on for about six or seven seconds.

Should the opponent be standing close enough, M. Bison will just straight up sucker punch them. From this, they’ll actually be placed in a knock down state.

Oddly, this doesn’t seem to actually deal any damage to the opponent. If it does deal any damage, it must deal like 1 point of damage as it doesn’t really seem like it causes the enemy’s health bar to move.

Unfortunately, M. Bison is still seen taunting while the other character is getting up. Funnily enough, he doesn’t even get Okizeme from this impossible situation. This clearly has no practical applications and is just something funny that the developers added.
