Street Fighter 6’s latest DLC character, M. Bison, is looking pretty strong here at the start of Season 2. The former dictator turned forgetful wanderer has a lot of the fixings that make up a top tier character here in Street Fighter 6, but his lack of an Overdrive invincible reversal could potentially throw a wrench into all of that down the line.
We’ll have to wait and see where he lands in the coming months, but before that, today we’re looking at another one of M. Bison’s strengths in Street Fighter 6. The hard-hitting contender has the ability to land three Drive Impacts all in one combo, which ultimately zaps more than half of your Drive Gauge when all is said and done.
This powerful combo comes from the mind of Desk, who recently posted a full fledged combo video for the new DLC character. Sharing this impressive feat as a standalone clip on Twitter, though, allows us to see it and appreciate it in all of its glory.
The combo makes use of M. Bison’s Psycho Mine mechanic, which sees him inject a timed Psycho Powered-bomb into the opponent that explodes after a set amount of time or when it makes contact with specific Bison special moves. The explosion is multi-faceted, with its behavior changing depending on the interaction.
If Bison lets the mine explode on its own, it will pop the opponent up high into the air for a follow up juggle. When it makes contact with a move like Psycho Crusher, it gets more damage on hit for the regular version, a big juggle opportunity if the OD version hits, and safe offensive pressure if any version is blocked while the mine is active.
This also goes away if M. Bison is hit before the mine explodes or is manually activated, but you can create scenarios where you set up the next move and make a big punish as a result — just like Desk does here.
With a mine stocked on Blanka, Desk punishes an OD Beast Ball with Drive Impact marking the first of the combo. He then combos crouching heavy punch into the second Drive Impact while Blanka is crumpled, which sees him fly up into the air.
Thanks to properly timing this sequence, the mine explodes after the second Drive Impact, which pops the opponent up further and allows for even more of a combo extension. Desk uses this opportunity to throw in a little Super Street Fighter II Turbo reference in Bison’s multiple standing light kicks in this combo before closing out with the third and final Drive Impact.

Not counting the meter Blanka used himself on the OD Beast Ball, in total this combo zapped roughly three and a half stocks of Drive Gauge.
