With the January transfer window now open, Manchester United are on the brink of their first signing under Ruben Amorim. Now, United fan Luke Littler has made it known who he wants to see United sign.
The 17-year-old is currently competing in the darts World Championships at Alexandra Palace after making it to the final in his debut last year.
This week, Littler made it through to the Semi-Finals, beating Nathan Aspinall 5-2, now poised to take on Stephen Bunting tonight at “Ally Pally”.
Littler puts his success in the sport down to his other hobbies supporting him to not be overawed by the pressures and expectations in the darts community.
One of his key pastimes, supporting The Red Devils.
Despite the current pressures at United, with the club in 14th with no budget to make transfers this month unless sales are completed first, Littler is hopeful of some improvements to the squad.
Taking to Instagram, the teenage darts sensation put up a story showing who he wants to move to Old Trafford in January.

Luke Littler wants Dani Olmo for Manchester United
Posting a link to Fabrizio Romano regarding Barcelona‘s Dani Olmo being removed from the squad-list, Littler captioned the story “6 month loan united”.
Due to Barcelona’s financial struggles, the club were only able to register Olmo in their team list for six months when they signed him in the summer.
Technically, as of 1st January 2025, Dani Olmo is fair game to any takers.
Whilst Barca were confident that they could raise the £83 million to win the appal against the LaLiga decision and register him for the rest of the season, it was not to be.
United were looking at signing the Spanish midfielder in the summer, however he opted for Barca instead. However, The Red Devils haven’t taken their eyes off of him, continuing to monitor the situation.
With Olmo being a free agent, he would be a cheaper option of boosting the squad, only having to take care of his salary.
It’s unknown as of yet if United intend to make a move for Olmo, however, his signing could be a very late Christmas present for Luke “The Nuke” Littler.
