Lovely ladies of fighting games look extra curvy here in Akisu's fan art

Today we’re featuring some fighting game fan artwork from an artist who goes by the name of Akisu. Akisu primarily draws more female figures than otherwise, and has a particular affinity for making them a little more curvy then they tend to appear in game.

Our roundup of his work includes characters from Capcom’s Street Fighter, SNK’s King of Fighters, Bandai Namco’s Tekken and Arc System Works’ Guilty Gear franchises with a few faces you’ll surely be familiar with.

The gallery begins with not one, but two images of Shermie from the King of Fighters. The first imagines her in a sort of King of Fighters All Stars baseball cheerleader outfit while the second sees her in her traditional getup.

Following Shermie is her fellow SNK representative Mai Shiranui, who has become one of the more globally popular figures in the fighting game genre. Mai has long been a fan favorite of King of Fighters and Fatal Fury, but most recently made news to be one of the first non-Capcom characters to ever be invited as a guest to a Street Fighter roster.

Speaking of Street Fighter, Strongest Woman in the World Chun-Li pops up next in the gallery as she strikes a less intense pose characteristic of some of her taunts over the years. Chun makes a second appearance at the end of the gallery in an entirely different outfit, namely her bikini attire from Street Fighter 5.

B. Jenet, Rainbow Mika, Asuka Kazama, Ibuki, Baiken and Reina all pose for the rest of the gallery, the entirety of which you can see directly below. Take a look through and let us know in the comments what you think of Akisu’s artwork.
