LordKnight explains his new Season 3.5 tier list for Guilty Gear Strive

The Arc World Tour 2023 is slated to begin on March 21, 2024. Leading up to this event, BC|LordKnight to review where the meta currently stands in Season 3.5.

Needless to say, LordKnight’s tier list looks dramatically different compared to his October 2023 tier list which was based on the Season 3 meta. Overall, characters have been shuffled going from LordKnight’s Season 3 rankings to his Season 3.5 rankings.

The characters that are most likely able to win tournaments are Sin Kiske, Goldlewis Dickinson, Sol Badguy, Nagoriyuki, and four others. These combatants are said to offer the most consistency.

Notably, Happy Chaos, a character that’s typically been one of the best fighters in the game since he was released, has been knocked down a peg as he now occupies the second highest tier category.

A number of the latest DLC fighters have been really struggling in Season 3.5. LordKnight notes that the characters that are either niche or power crept are Johnny, Elphelt, Bedman, Testament, and Zato-1 occupy slots at the very bottom of the list.

In a recent video upload, LordKnight spends an hour and a half explaining the reasoning behind his placements. Of course, LordKnight also makes it a point to note that each tier group is unordered.
