February 10, 2025 PHILADELPHIA, Pa – Eagles fans took to the streets near Philadelphia City Hall following the game yesterday evening to celebrate a victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.
Philadelphia police department issued a public safety alert and utilized State Troopers on mounted patrols to disperse large crowds in order to clear streets after looting and vandalism broke out.
A Chiefs jersey was burned by Eagles fans as they chanted “F*ck The Chiefs!” Eagles colors flooded the streets in Philadelphia’s city center as “F*ck TAYLOR SWIFT” chants could also be heard.
Multiple arrests were made before the celebrations wrapped up. Police used patrols on horses and smoke canisters to clear the streets to prevent any more vandalism and looting.
