Ademola Lookman came late into the action as Atalanta fell to Inter Milan in the first semifinal of the Italian Super Cup tourney on Thursday night.
The Super Cup is being played in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
A second-half double from Denzel Dumfries earned Inter the win, as the Serie A champions aim to win the trophy for the fourth successive time.
Inter secured their place in Monday’s final, where they will meet the winners of the other semi-final between Juventus and AC Milan.

Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini surprisingly left both Lookman and Charles De Ketelaere on the bench, having already been without top scorer Mateo Retegui through injury.
The first half remained goalless, largely due to Atalanta goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi, who made a series of impressive saves.
He first stopped Lautaro Martinez with a reflex save from close range, then followed up with a remarkable double save—parrying Martinez’s powerful shot and recovering quickly to deny Federico Dimarco’s rebound attempt.
Atalanta’s best opportunity came from an error by Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni, whose poor headed clearance set up Giorgio Scalvini for a close-range header, but he directed it straight at goalkeeper Yann Sommer.
However, just four minutes into the second half, Denzel Dumfries broke the deadlock and doubled Inter’s lead in the 61st minute. They held on to win.
